Ohorere Gardens, one of Wanganui's finest gardens of distinction, will be open to visitors by arrangement from September 2008.
The gardens are located on the banks of the Whanganui River some 15km upriver from Wanganui City. You can cruise there by riverboat to enjoy the beauty of this wonderful garden. This is a must do cruise for groups who enjoy garden visits. Bookings are essential.

can be arranged at the gardens if required but must be arranged with your
booking. Cost is $5 per person.
